WE’RE BACK!

Ok.  It has been an admittedly long time since I last blogged.   The fact is a couple of years ago I decided to stop blogging here and post everything over on my Facebook page.  It’s time to start of the blog machine again though!  Feel free to click on through older weddings here (you’ll notice a slightly different editing style) and check out more recent work on that Facebook page and the Instant Grams, but from this point forward, we’ll have some highlights on Insta more highlights on Facebook and even more here on the blog.  So, you’ll want to keep up and follow along!

For you aspiring and seasoned photographers, there will be something for you too!  I’m going to periodically post some behind the scenes photos and “how I got the shot” posts or information about how I go about certain aspects of the wedding day, as well.  So, potential clients, you’ll get something out of this as well!  Some of the first ones will be about the three aspects of my photography that I find couples come to me for… capturing moments (often they’re pointing to reception photos), fun and unique wedding party photos, and creative portraiture.  Within those three  aspects of my work are other important techniques and habits I’ll be sharing that may include lighting or client interaction, etc.  I’ve gotten a lot of questions over the years which I have answered individually, but I feel like it’s time to get some of this out there so others might glean something from it.

The website will be getting a facelift soon and that may include the blog as well so there’s lots still to come.
